General Questions
- How do I know if I've included enough info for my brochure?
Your realtor is the best source to get the proper information for your brochure. Work with your realtor and they will make sure you have all the right data. If you're not working with a realtor or still have questions of what to include, just take a look at one of our example brochures by opening the .pdf in any of the brochure detail pages. Remember that its better to have too much data than not enough.
- Can I change the color or layout of a brochure?
Yes. Home Brochures Inc. designs all of our brochure with Adobe Photoshop and send each customer a copy of the original working source file. If you know how to edit in Adobe photoshop, then you can edit and change all aspects of your template. The layout, color and picture placements each are on their own layer and can be edited. We offer a wide variety of attractive brochures so be sure to pick the color and layout you like. We are always adding new brochures to our catalog with new colors and layouts.
- What happens after I am done editing my home brochure?
Once you have finished your edits and added your pictures and text, you can then save your file as either a .pdf (recommended) or .jpg and print your brochure from either your home computer or take the saved file to a local printer like Kinkos and they can print them for you. If you choose to print from a desktop printer at home, you may need to adjust the settings of the print job to be able to center the print on the paper. You may have to experiment a few times to get the result you desire. Of course, a local printer will be able to do this for you once you have completed inserting your pictures and text.
- I'm having problems checking out. I can't register during checkout.
You may have your cookies disabled. Turn them on and then repeat the sign in/register process.
- I lost or deleted my original photoshop brochure file. Can you send me another?
Yes. Home Brochures Inc. has a replacement request page located here. You must have your order number to request a replacement. (24-72 hour turnaround time) Also feel free to call or email us as well and a new download link will be sent to you via email.
Printing Questions
- Do you provide printing services?
Yes. Home Brochures Inc. offers full bleed printing and quantity options for very affordable prices. Contact us by phone or email for a quote.
- Why is my home printer putting a white border around the brochure page?
All of our brochures are set to have a bleed off the page. The photoshop file we send you can do bleed or not bleed based on your local printers capability. Many desktop printers don't have this ability. Even many local area printers such as Fed-Ex Kinkos® also don't have this ability unless an additional charge is paid. When you print off of a regular printer, a white border will be applied around the brochure. Home Brochures Inc. offers full bleed printing options for a small fee with VistaPrint®. Please contact us for printing prices.
Brochure Package Questions
- Can I resell these brochures to my clients?
Absolutely and we encourage you to do so. Our Brochure Package is "royalty free" and you may purchase these brochures and sell them as an add-on to your clients. Or purchase the Brochure Package at an unbelievable savings and sell them or offer them to your clients with nothing more to pay us ever. IMPORTANT: The only requirement you must agree to when purchasing our products is that you cannot resell our brochures to the public or other realtors who intend to post the brochures anywhere on the internet or intranet for sale or download in any form. The End User license only applies to the individual who purchases the package. This is spelled out in the "Terms of Service" that you must agree to when you make your purchase.
- Are fonts included with the Brochure Package?
No. We do not own the right to resell the fonts to be used for resale. However there are many free font sites out there where you can find workable and attractive replacements. We like http://www.1001freefonts.com If you choose to resell your brochures, you may need to pay the person who designed the font a one time fee for this privilage. Usually this is only a very small fee or sometimes even a donation of your choice.
- Can a realtor post pictures of the brochures on their website and offer to customize them for clients?
Yes. However the picture of the brochure on the realtor's website must not be downloadable or in the original form that was sent with the package. You can post pictures of a customized brochure but not the original that came with the package.
Return Policy
- What is your return policy?
If you have any issues or concerns, you may contact us by using our contact page of the website. Because our products are digital in nature, returns are generally not given unless the file is somehow corrupted digitally and can be verified on our end. In the event of a corrupted file, a replacement will be sent to the customer. Customers are highly encouraged to visit the pages of the brochure they are intersted in and download the sample .pdf file and only order the brochure of choice once they are sure this is the selection they want to make.

Pictures are an important part of your brochure and not just any picture will do. There are technical requirements that MUST be met in order for your pictures to be used in your brochure.
- A modern digital camera is prefered.
- Set the Camera to the highest quality settings in its menu.
- Set the Camera to the highest size (resolution) settings in its menu.
- Never resize the photos after you have taken them unless its in Photoshop.
- The pictures will be large in file size when you download them from your camera.
